Several years ago, in Korea, I ventured around the local food vendors, and one of them sold tornado potatoes. Captivated by the name, I decided to buy one and try it out. I was shocked when the person gave something that looked like dozens of potato chips all pierced into a stick. I quickly realized that they were a spiral cut potato on a stick, and they resemble the shape of a tornado. They looked a bit similar to curly French fries but shorter and crispier. When I tasted it, I was shocked by deliciousness and desired to have more. The tornado potato ships were made from having the spiral cut potatoes on the stick deep-fried and seasoned with a savoring seasoning.
