The perfect place would be Eddie’s Sweet Shop in New York City. Eddie’s Sweet Shop has been sundaes using the same recipes since 1925. For 94 years, it has been selling traditional ice cream that soon became legendary, and this is why Eddie’s Sweet Shop attracts both old and young customers. Like a classic sundae, the place sells homemade scoops of ice cream piled with whipped cream and drizzled with strawberry sauce with a cherry to finish. Hi everyone! Today I’ll be talking about a snack that’ll make your mouths water and that’s teriyaki. Taiyaki is a type of Japanese pancaked shaped like fishes. Not only do they look cute, but they taste INCREDIBLE. Being crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the inside, they are often filled with sweet fillings such as custard and even ice cream. This is something you must certainly try no matter what!

In New York City, there is a famous teriyaki place called Taiyaki NYC that sells some of the best taiyaki you can possibly find. The place got 4.5/5 on Yelp from 2,802 reviews, and it has been a famous spot for tourists and locals. Taiyaki NYC is incredibly popular, and they appear in many news articles, such as The Huffington Post, The Cosmopolitan, and New York Post. If you happen to be in NYC, you must get a taste of this wonder at once!

Ghirardelli Signature Chocolate Ice Cream

Last summer in San Francisco, other than going to Fisherman’s Wharf, I also went to Ghiradelli Square. Ghiradelli Square is a place where you can find all sorts of Ghiradelli products from chocolate bars to hot chocolate. When I went there, the line was pretty long and it took me about 20 minutes to place an order, but it was worth it. I bought the Signature Chocolate Ice Cream. Made from Ghiradelli chocolate, this ice cream is rich in flavor and not too sweet. It’s one of the best chocolate ice creams I have ever eaten, and I suggest you try it out to some time if you happen to be in San Franciso. They also sell sundaes, milkshakes, and chocolate gift bags as well.

Turkish Ice Cream

Back when I traveled to Istanbul, Turkey, with my family members, my cousin and I had just eaten lunch when we saw an ice cream cart nearby. When we got closer to the cart, we were both confused because the ice cream didn’t seem like regular ice cream. Then we realized what wasn’t normal about the ice cream: it was sticky. Out of curiosity, we decided to buy one. The ice cream man scooped us the ice cream using a metal stick and attached the cone to the ice cream while the ice cream was still on the stick. Then he served it to us while it was on the stick, but when we were about to grab it, the ice cream man quickly pulled the stick and our ice cream attached to it away. Then he made a little show with the ice cream and did little tricks on us by snatching away our ice cream with the stick while we were reaching for it. Shockingly, our ice cream never fell from the stick when the ice cream man did his tricks with it. After several minutes, we finally got our ice cream and left feeling happy and amazed by what we just saw. If you’re ever going to travel to Turkey, be sure to buy the local ice cream and prepared to be amazed and tricked at the same time!
